One punch man – overview

Japanese anime One Punch Man is a series based on One’s webcomic and its manga adaptation, which was drawn by Yusuke Murata.

The plot is set in City Z and follows Saitama, a superhero who has become bored as his power has risen to the point that all his fights finish in a single punch.

While Tomohiro Suzuki wrote the script, Shingo Natsume directed the series at Madhouse. Character design by Chikashi Kubota, who also acted as principal animation director, and music by Makoto Miyazaki is also included in the series. Between October 5, 2015, and December 21, 2015, Daisuki and Hulu broadcasted the series in Japan.
